A refrigeration compressor is the main component that circulates refrigerant through a cooling system by compressing low-pressure gas into high-pressure gas.

The compressor pumps refrigerant through the system, allowing heat to be removed from inside the space and released outside.

It draws in low-pressure refrigerant gas, compresses it to increase pressure and temperature, then sends it to the condenser for cooling.

Special compressor oil lubricates internal parts, reducing friction and preventing wear.

Oil is added through the service port using approved tools. This should only be done by a qualified refrigeration technician.

You can purchase genuine compressor spares from MACS Cool’s online store and branches nationwide.

Condenser Unit FAQ's

The condenser releases heat from the refrigerant and is usually located outside the building.

It is the outdoor unit that contains the condenser coil, fan, and compressor.
